Hey everyone!

I realized that I have seriously neglected my blog. But I'm back with a update. I'm feeling really happy because I still have a month and half before school starts. Without a doubt, school is going to be extremely stressful and I will have to put Youtube on the shelf again. I won't have a lot of time to make videos and I will mainly try to focus on studying, which is why I am posting like crazy these days! I love dressing up for the weekends. During school, all I want to do is lounge around in comfy clothes and I rarely have time in the mornings to dress up. Hey guys!

I really miss making videos. I'm sorry that this year I've been so m.i.a, I feel like i've just been apologizing non-stop to you guys. If I could, I would be making sewing tutorials on how to make lace tops, cropped tops, and etc. Maybe during the summer when I'm home I could restart my sewing aspect of my channel! I can't wait!

Let yourself breathe deeply

Hey there!

Today I took a deep breath. I took in the fresh air, green grass, rolling hills, and the warm sun.

The grey fog dispersed and revealed a beautiful gem in the sky. I stared into the light blue sky and watched the clouds float by. I sat on the grass for the first time on campus. I should take more moments out of my day to go for a run on a beautiful trail, or do my homework on the lush green grass.

I received my Olay Professionals ProX cleansing tool. It is like a dupe of the Clarisonic face tool. A lot of people rave about how amazing the Clarisonic is but it isn't cheap. So I went on amazon and bought the Olay one for $23 bucks. I bought it because my sister had one and recommended it to me. It is a little rough at first but my skin feels silky smooth after. I definitely recommend it to anyone who doesn't have super sensitive skin and would like to try a face brush cleansing tool for a deeper clean. It claims to clean 6x better than manually cleansing with your hands. I definitely agree. I like using the Olay tool with the deep clean invigorating face wash.

Lately I've been dying to go thrift store shopping. I don't know what has overcome me! Maybe its from my roommate or the people I watch on Youtube. I'm going to create a Thrift Store haul fashion video for you guys soon! It was my second time going to a thrift store and it was so much fun! Update February: College vs High School Fashion

Dear blog readers and youtube subscribers,

Hey everyone! I wanted to give you guys an update on what I've been up to. Sorry that I have been neglecting my channel but I want you guys to understand that I take my grades seriously. This is my first year in college and i really had to focus on school work and keeping my grades up. Slowly I am coming back to my routine on Youtube. I have been working on making videos more frequently than I did at the beginning of my school year.

Video Ideas
I really want to make a video on college fashion vs. High school fashion. Ironically I think that in High School, I dressed up a lot more even though I was a lot younger back then. You would think that as you grow up, your fashion sense would change into a glamorous fashionista's closet with heels and cute dresses. On the contrary, in college a lot of students are very laid back. This is the point of view at my school. I noticed that girls here dress very casually and comfortably. People wear running clothes and work out clothes to class. I see a lot of baggy sweats, hoodies, and loose clothing. In college it's more about comfort. On the other hand, with makeup, I've noticed an increase in makeup. It's interesting seeing a very well made up girl in loose clothes. Haha it's all about feeling comfortable I guess :) I think that it is true because there is a lot of wilderness in my area. I am not sure if this is true for every campus but it is a trend that I've been noticing. No more heels during the day because trekking across a rocky dirt road or an uneven path in stilettos will be very dangerous. Fashion is not pain. It was just easier in HS when the school was small and I knew where I needed to walk to.

Well I am not saying that everyone is in sweats 247. At night, girls get dolled up for parties and going out. So there is a time and place to get dressed up. In high school I noticed that everyone was dressed up all the time. This difference may be true just because I came from a big city and now I'm in a smaller town.

Regardless about what you wear or when you wear, I want you guys to know that fashion should make you feel good. It should represent who you are and your creative artistic abilities. Have fun with what you have and mix it up!

Eyeliner 101

When I was younger, I was not a big fan of eyeliner. Especially with my small eyes, black eyeliner seem to make my eyes appear smaller. Also, I would have those huge black raccoon eyes because I would use the cheap stuff from wet & wild that was 99 cents. So I just avoided it all together.

So a couple years later, and watching probably a thousand of makeup videos (sadly), I understand eyeliner a lot more. So I've finally started branching out to trying different types of liners.

My current favorite is the Physician's Formula Felt-Tip Marker Eyeliner! Its so pigmented and easy to remove at the same time. I heard that it dries out quickly!! i hope that doesn't happen to mine!

Gel Liner
(Loreal HIP Gel Liner in True Black)
- great with a brush
- gives intense define line
- hard to remove
-smudges like crazy if you have watery eyes
- do not use on your lower lash line! It will smudge!

Kohl Liner
( wet&wild )
- easy to smudge
- easy to get raccoon eyes
- very hard to stay put

Hey Everyone!
For my back to school fashion video, I was able to show you the hottest trends through makemechic.com. They sent me some clothes for review considerations. So I wanted to share with you my opinion about this website from sizing, quality, price, and shipping.

Sizing:
I am a size medium and I like wearing my clothes a little loose and not skin tight.
Compared to Cutesygirl.com, the size medium is smaller and better fitting.
Compared to hotmiamistyles.com medium it is bigger.
Compared to Forever 21, it is about the same.
Jackets in size medium fits perfectly
Tops in size medium fits a little loose but to my liking.
Dresses in size small fits best, medium would be too loose.
Shoes (I'm a size 8.5) - Size 9 for rain boots, Size 8.5 for boots/closed toed shoes, size 8 for gladiators/sandals.

Quality:
The quality is pretty much the same as every online store that I have worked with or bought from. Some of their clothes varies in quality. Their jackets are constructed well and I really like them. Make sure you read what material the clothes is made out of. I didn't expect one of the jackets to be made out of cotton. The dresses are similar quality to Forever 21. The fabric is okay on some of the tops, remember you get what you pay for. I haven't had the chance to wash any of their clothes yet. Their shoes are exactly the same as cutesygirl.com, and they last about 1/2 year if you wear them practically everyday or even 1 1/2 years like another pair that I own. I love their rainboots and boots! They really stay on top of trends and their clothing is very stylish.

Pricing:
So far I have noticed that their shoes are more affordable than most online stores. I love that they have such a wide selection of clothes and shoes. Their clothes are also very affordable and easy on the wallet. I love how certain items come with a belt! Those are the most versatile items.

Photos vs. Products
The actual clothes look just as good in person. I really one of the newer models, I think she does a really good job at selling the clothes. Make sure you read what material the clothes is made out of so you know what to expect. They have a very detailed description below the pictures. I love how detailed the photos are because I like seeing things up close.

Shipping:
Everything came neatly packaged in a box or a plastic bag. The shipping was through Fedex. They offer free shipping over $50 for US residents. On average it takes about 2-10 days. Great customer service.

Conclusion:
I think they have a lot of potential to grow! Just like cutesygirl.com and how they became extremely popular on youtube. Since makemechic offers a lot of affordable and similar styles at lower prices, I think a lot of you guys will like this website. I really like the boots that I have, they're flat so they're ultra comfortable and perfect for school. Their clothes are very wearable for school and very fashion forward. I'm excited to see what they come out with every week because they constantly update their store. The only con is that their inventory runs out really fast. So if you like something, they might have sold out on your size.

Forever 21 Haul

Hey guys :) my sister took back her camera the other day so I can't film any videos anytime soon. Not unless I fix my old camera or use my really bad camcorder. The quality on the camcorder really sucks so I don't really want to use it. Lol I look really pale and grey with that cam, i don't know why.

This dress/tunic was $13.50! I'm so short that it works as a dress. Haha I would hate to look like i'm wearing a shirt without pants, but trust me it works :) I'm undecided if I should keep it because I got a size small. The bust area is kind of tight but a medium would just fall off. Hrmm ....

Today after work I decided to go shopping! Haha honestly haven't treated myself in awhile! No lie. I went to forever 21 and picked up 3 tops and a cute cream colored dress. Whoever put cream and brown together is a genius! I just love those colors in an outfit. So I bought a purple blue t-shirt top with ruffles that go down the front. Its not too low cut so I really like it for everyday and possibly work! I also got a mauve fabulous finds chiffon and jersey tank top. I like the color, its very feminine. The last top is a grey jersey loose fitted tee. It has a picture of an owl and parts of the wing has gold foil on it! Its very comfortable and relaxed looking :) something I don't have. I bought a cream colored fabulous finds smock dress. It has brown and cream colored strings on the bust area. It has pockets on the side. If you layer a top over it, it looks like you're wearing a flowing cream colored high waisted skirt! Everything is very versatile. I really want to film a haul soon! And a summer fashion video before it turns fall. Haha I think I'll combine it again since its foggy still where I live. I hope you all are enjoying your summers! Flats are dangerous footwear

Yesterday was the second time I wore flats this year. It was a big mistake because they gave me a very painful foot blister. If you don't know what a blister is, it is a fluid filled sac caused by heat and/or friction. When girls wear flats, they often don't wear socks with them. Not wearing socks can cause a lot of friction between your feet and your shoes. The skin on your feet can rub on the plastic or fabric of the flats.

I remember when flats became the new "in" type of footwear, I was surprised. I didn't understand how girls wore shoes without socks. My feet got swollen, sweaty, red, and sometimes even smelly. Its the truth that girls sometimes do anything to look fashionable. I think I just missed the days of looking cute in tennis shoes (not that cute sometimes). Plus, flats often did not give my feet a lot of support. They are very flimsy and thin and do not absorb shock. I went out and purchased socks for my flats (which were really expensive when they first came out, and some foot gels like doctor scholls). Overtime I just gave up the whole idea of wearing flats and switched the boots. Boots allow me to look cute and feel comfortable. I just love my socks too much.

My feet have always made me feel insecure. I'm a size 8.5 and I'm only 5"2.5 without shoes on. I think I was meant to grow taller but I didn't drink my milk in my teens. So I'm just stuck as a petite girl. Anyhoos, I come to the conclusion that I don't think I'll wear flats for a long long time. I'll just stick to sandals and boots and flip flops!

Today I woke up in a relaxed state. I felt so rested and comfortable in bed. I think its time for me to get a new bed because I was sleeping in my sisters new mattress. My old box spring is squeeky and hard, haha its time to throw away that kiddy bed. Suddenly I felt a horrible pain in my mouth. My jaw started to click. From the sound of it, i thought my jaw cracked. So i hurried to my computer to look up what was going on to my jaw. Its called Jaw Clicking. "One muscle pulls one way, another pulls in an opposite direction or doesn't move at all—and your jaw clicks. Jaw clicking is very common, dentists say. The only reason it's so annoyingly noticeable is that it's right next to your ear. Sometimes jaw clicking comes along with other symptoms—such as headaches, neck pain, stiffness or difficulty opening and closing the mouth."
The only thing I can do is wait with time, or get a mouth guard.
So I just feel really terrible right now. I'm starving and I can't really open my mouth to eat. I read online that I should try to relieve the pain by not putting so much pressure and strength on that part of my mouth. So I should avoid chewing gum, eatting tough food, and relaxing my jaw. I think I should just stick to wearing my retainers at night. That way I won't have to worry so much about waking up with my jaw misaligned. :[

On a happier note, I just finished editing a HUGE COOL VIDEO! Its a huge collective/collaborative video of all the fashion videos I have ever done. (or most of which was saved on my computer for editing) Its basically 50 looks in 5 minutes. I hope that it will inspire you guys when you feel like you don't know what to wear for the day. I really encourage anyone who has a fashion video to share it by posting it as a video response. Or you can post tips in the comment section! I think it would be a really helpful way for girls who need some inspiration! It was a lot of fun to edit! I wanted to cram a lot more in there but I couldn't find some of my older videos like my Back to School Fashion or the Skinny Jeans video! Again, you guys don't know how much fun it has been being on youtube. I feel like I have met a lot of fun people & you guys have greatly increased my confidence level. If you guys haven't noticed, in the beginning of my videos back in last august, I used to talk with a LOT of pauses. Now words just flow more smoothly and naturally. Like bubz said in her newest inspirational video, it is awkward at first because you're talking to a camera alone in a room. But over time it becomes something more natural. If anyone needs help working on their speaking skills, then youtube is very helpful. Hope you all had a wonderful day. I really want to add a few new items to my boutique but my sister took off with the camera for the week. I'll update you guys when I do add new things! OH and also if anyone knows how to transfer videos from a camcorder please tell me! I recorded it on a tape but I don't have a clue or a DV wire to transfer it. Why doesn't a USB work ?

Valentine Lunar New Year Day!

Happy Valentines Day everyone & Happy Lunar New Years! I hope that you all are having a fun romantic day or a comfy day with your family. I was laughing because someone called valentine's day, National Single Awareness day! I think today is just a cute day is dedicated to spending time with your special someone or with the people you love, it doesn't necessarily have to be your boyfriend or girlfriend. So I wanted to share with you guys a couple of pictures from my family dinner last night because the food was amazing! My mom and dad spent a few hours in the kitchen cooking this big feast. So my sister just told me that there is a pillow fight going on in my city tonight at 6! It sounds like a lot of fun but I would rather not get hit with 10 random pillows by strangers! Haha you never know where the pillow came from or who could end up being behind you! Scary fun!

Oh yeah and i finished reading Dear John. Quite frankly it was a regular chick flick type book. The ending was quite disappointing for me because it left little to yearn for or to think about. Now i'm not sure if I want to watch the movie anymore because I don't know how different it could be from the book. (SPOILERS AHEAD) It was one of those girl meets boy who saves her. Boy falls in love with girl. Boy leaves for a few years but the girl promises to write to him. Girl gets anxious and is sad because he is gone for such a long period of time. Boy comes back but leaves again soon. Girl sends letter that says she fell in love with someone else. Boy's father suddenly falls ill and ends up dying. Girl's new husband is sick so she feels guilty and stuck with him forever. Boy is still in love with the girl and decides that true love is making sacrafices for the ones you love. So he donates a bunch of money and the book ends with him watching her from a distance and she is still with her husband, but secretly is still in love with the boy. Lol the end! I liked the beginning but the ending was not satisfying!

DIY: Foaming Soap

So lately I've been in love with bath&body work's foaming antibacterial hand soaps! They smell so yummy and the foaming is great. The foam and the friction between your hands is actually want removes the bacteria, nothing really "kills" it. (I learned that from the hospital, haha and it took me 17 years to realize that one!) So I was thinking about it the other day, I always wondered if you could reuse the containers from bath&body works to make your own foaming soap. So I Googled "reuse bath and body work foaming soap" and it actually came up! I'm truly in love! I have tried to open the container before, but I noticed that I could use a kitchen glove to open it. So for the ingredients to make the soap is, like 1 inch of soap and fill the rest of the container with water! It works great and saves a lot of money. Buying one of those foaming dispensers actually cost up to $10-$20 for a stainless steel one. But if you just buy one from bath&body works or buy them when they're on sale, they're actually only $3. Great huh? Have fun making some foaming soaps!

My sister and I went to Pacific Catch and she fell in love with this Poke bowl! haha she had to call her bf, best friend, and fb about how amazing it was! and if you wondered if she went back today, SHE DID! haha she decided to head back to order another one. Its like a magnetic field. It resonates words, whispers, noises. We find it hard to ignore. It easily consumes us, our mind, our every thought. We try to over come it, it viciously bites us back. It lingers after it is silent in the room. When we are left alone, the presence of it creates a dark shadow over our eager body. It attacks.A fierce wind rips maroon petals off its stem. The strong green stem grows timid and weak. The stem croaches over in defeat, lowered to the ground. All of the petals are gone, and the stem is bare and naked. Revealed. The beauty of each petal and the unique fragrance is blown away to a distant muddy puddle. The petal floats in the water, lost without its structure. It is calm now. It tenderly blows upon the petals to create a small rotation. From a distance, blurry maroon petals stir in the water, round and round. Eventually it wins, and all of the sweet petals feel the weight of the water. Pulled back to the moist brown Earth.

The Secret to Happiness

Today was a great day. I just want to start off by saying, positivity is infectious and so is negativity. After watching the movie The Secret, It really opened my eyes to the way I was going about my day. So basically the secret is "The Law of Attraction". The phrase Law of Attraction refers to the idea that thoughts influence chance. ( I pasted the definition for you guys) The Law of Attraction argues that thoughts (both conscious and unconscious) can affect things outside the head, not just through motivation but by other means. Essentially, "if you really want something and truly believe it's possible, you'll get it", but putting a lot of attention and thought onto something you don't want means you'll get that too.For example, if we stub our toe in the morning and we think to ourselves, agh! I'm gonna have a terrible day, then you're going to start noticing every negative aspect of your day. We seem to give more weight to the negative and that's how we attract more negativity. However, if you don't think about those small annoying things that might happen, I know it happens, but just focusing on the positive will just make your day seem that much better! So our attitude really attracts what we bring into our lives. Here is two ways that I can tell my day:

I woke up in the morning super groggy in the morning. I didn't feel like going to school because I had 2 tests, I dread tests. Then I got to school and almost fell asleep in class because the sound of reading english was boring me to death. The weather was crappy, foggy and rainy. I bought this survey thing that was a dollar and then I lost it in the hallway. What a waste of my money. The someone commented that my makeup looked darker on one side, and I felt self-conscious for the day. I was pretty mad because even though I wanted to just ask for another one, I knew that it wouldn't be fair or possible to get another one. I was just in a mad mood. Then my tea cup got knocked over and I was sad because I didn't have water that day. I was thirsty. I had another test in physics and I was confused, even though I felt like i had all of the answers. By the afternoon, I was starving but time was not on my side. I ran to the cafeteria and the microwave took foreverrr!! ( SO NEGATIVE!!!) haha okay i'm sure this is not the worst thing happening on the planet right now, with the chaos happening in Haiti. It was really easy for me to gear towards the negative and just dwell on the idea of, this day sucks!!

So here is what I could have focused on to have a more positive attitude: ( DO THIS MORE OFTEN!!)
Yay I woke up in the morning and I didn't have to ride the crowded bus! My mom made me breakfast and drove me to school. Since it was tuesday, I had didn't have to go swimming so I could do my makeup. I was really happy that I had that extra time to dress up and to sleep in since my mom was driving me. When I got to my first class, I was there early. I saved a lot of time because my mom dropped me off right in front of class. Cool huh, that's because my classroom is in a bungalow. I was lucky to have brought my umbrella because some people forgot theirs, so I just walked with a classmate. I bought a match maker, which is a relationship survey/pop poll that matches you with someone of the opposite gender in the school as the best matched person for you. I went to econ and noticed that I lost my match maker, its okay it was only a dollar. During econ my mug was knocked over, but I didn't really care because I was tired of drinking jasmine green tea every morning. I swear it was the cause of my yellow teeth ( HAHA jk :) well i am whiting my teeth now, so not drinking the tea can only make my teeth whiter. I should go back to water anyways.) During the physics test, i was happy to see problems that I had seen before, so I felt slightly prepared! haha even though I sorta wasn't. During psychology, I chatted with a neighbor and I feel like we might become good friends. I thought that it might be awkward because it was a change of people but I began to feel comfortable. I was so happy that my stomach didn't grumble because it would have sounded like a whale. Grub grub glloooooo. thats what i sound like when I'm hungry. In psych we were learning about homosexuals, and whether or not it is inborn in our genes or caused by our environment or a choice. I think it could be all three. Finally I got to eat my yummy rice and goose. DELICIOUS! lol i swear all I could think about was how great the food tasted. In swimming class we didn't have to swim because it was closed so we just sat in the computer lab and watched instructional swimming videos. They made it look so easy. I felt inspired and I saw the glimmering hope at the end of the tunnel. I think I might actually learn how to swim :)! On the bus I got to sit, which is pretty lucky because its always crowded. I got home really quickly too! Plus wearing heels didn't hurt my feet at all.

Can anyone relate to how I feel?

So can you see how different my day is when you read each perspective. Remember that if you're in a bad mood, its okay, just brush it off and think about the positive aspect of your situation. You're day can only get better. So smile at that person you felt awkward towards, hold the door for a stranger, give up your seat on the bus because those little things might brighten someones day. I just finished watching (click here to watch the video I'm talking about) meganheartsmakeup on youtube and she posted a very inspiration video about giving back and feeling good. I feel good to talk about this stuff because I don't like bottling things inside. Sometimes I want to express how I feel but I'm still insecure about what other people think of my opinion. Slowly, but surely I am conquering this fear. I just want you guys to know that you have the ability to change your life, I know as cliche as it all sounds, its true.

The Steps:

Ask	Know what you want and ask the universe for it.	This is where you need to get clear on what it is you want to create and visualize what you want as being as 'real' as possible.
Believe	Feel and behave as if the object of your desire is on its way.	Focus your thoughts and your language on what it is you want to attract. You want to feel the feeling of really 'knowing' that what you desire is on its way to you, even if you have to trick yourself into believing it – do it.
Receive	Be open to receiving it.	Pay attention to your intuitive messages, signs from the Universe to help you along the way as assurance you are on the 'right' path. As you align yourself with the Universe and open yourself up to receiving, the very thing you that want to happen will show up.

Vacationing in Thailand

Today is a new day, unlike any other day.
School just feels different, probably because of the schedule change, but it could also be the change in people. There are a lot more seniors in my classes, people that I used to just casually pass by in the hallways, unnoticed. Now I have them sitting near me, slightly unbearable but still there. Its all a new feeling. I'm eatting a costco chicken bake. I'll try not to digress too much, and to stick to the main point of this blog. My day feels so much longer now, going from physics being my first class and turning it into my afternoon class. Plus, now I have swimming to think about. I'm pretty excited about it just because I really want to learn. Let me share with you one of my near death/ vacation experiences.

Thailand - Pataya / Bangkok

So I was feeling ambitious as the medium sized motor boat parked in a shaded lagoon area. I saw the lush trees covering the grey mountains. I noticed the clear blue sky and the single bright spot up above burning away at my pale skin. I dip my feet in the water, unprepared for the cold sensation. I decided to head in without a life jacket and just snorkling goggles. I actually cannot swim, I don't know if it was my ego that told me that I could but, I just went for me. My whole family got into the water. We were traveling with a family friend and her daughter. She looked kind. We both headed in the water. After a mere one minute after being in the water, I began to panic when I took off my goggles. I couldn't tread and the girl next to me couldn't either. We both began to scream for help as I swallowed salty water. The girl panicked and grabbed my neck and leaned against my shoulders. She was trying to use my body to keep her afloat. Boy, was i in trouble.... I was soo mad at her because I kept bobbing up and down in the water. My dad finally pulled her away from me and yelled the crap out of me for not taking a life vest. Even he, as experienced as he is took a life vest. Yeah thats the thing about traveling in a foreign country, they don't exactly warn you about the dangers of petting a tiger, or jumping into a lagoon, or riding an elephant, rolling down a hill in a huge plastic ball, riding dirt bikes/ motorcycles without a license, parasailing, watching people play with crocodiles, eatting food that has been sitting out in the 90 degree heat, and riding in a tiny motor boat against strong ocean currents. IT WAS AMAZING THOUGHT!! hahaha I know I'm slightly crazy for doing all those things, but I felt so alive doing them.

These thoughts crossed my mind when I couldn't sleep last night ....

At 5 AM, I woke up to the sound of deafening thunder. I thought that someone broke a window or a earthquake was occuring. I popped out of bed and ran to my parents room. yes i'm like a little girl at heart, running to her parents. My dad calmly said, "hunnie, its just thunder, it'll go away." I was a little assured but I didn't fully believe him. So I ran to my sisters bed because my bed is right next to the window. I was literally in tears because I thought that the world was going to end! The rain was pounding hard on my clear glass windows and I could see the palm tree outside swaying from side to side. It look like someone was shaking the life of out that tree. I was wrapped around my blankets as if they could protect me from the dangerous world outside. I can't imagine what it would be like in Haiti right now. I know that I'm so lucky that I didn't experience that earthquake. Since I am a whole continent away from the disaster, I don't feel the weight of the disaster on my shoulders. It just made me feel worse. I woke up at around 7 and the rain had subsided. The wind was a little more calm and my heart was at a steady beat. I was glad to be alive.

Today was the first day of the 2nd semester. Driving to school was another experience. I heard the whipping rain and the pounding droplets against my car. I saw rushing cars down the freeway splashing through a couple feet of water without a care in the world. I just worried that my tires would hydroplane. At school I stole to another homeroom to take a sugared donut at 9 in the morning. Now I wish I didn't throw half of it away because my stomach was grumbling by 12:30PM. Walking to class I thought about the disasters that could occur to me when I was going home. When I arrived to my econ class, I was surprised by the people that I saw, a lot of familar faces. I'm glad that in the sea of people I could recognize those few to make me feel more comforted. The teachers were kind, funny, and interesting, for the most part. I think this semester will be interesting since it will be my last before I heard off to the unknown territory - college. I decided to take a picture of my outfit that I put together before dawn, since my friend said she liked it. haha maybe you guys will too!

WARNING RAMBLING AHEAD!
Today I went to a new dentist in the sunset district. The first thing that i noticed about this office was the amazing body shop tangerine smell. The secretary sitting at the front desk was extremely friendly to me and my dad. She actually remembers his name and who he is, and he came a week ago. At my last dentist, they were not that friendly. Oh sometimes he would talk to me occasionally, but I always felt like they were cheating me of my insurance money. But at my new office, they made me feel very welcome. So the dentist greeted me and led me to my seat in a very nice area that was like a cubical. There was a really nice high tec computer to my right and the room was a beige and light green color. Suddenly the dental assistant without warning stuck a foam piece filled with fluoride into my mouth. I was so surprised because I had no clue what the heck she just stuck into my mouth. I sat there with this white thing in my mouth for 5 mins before someone came by to tell me what was going on. She explained to me that it would strengthen my teeth before the cleaning. And she offered me a magazine to read while I waited 20 mins or so. She ironically brought me the magazine i was reading in the waiting room and a Gentlemen's Quarterly magazine. haha so conflicting, but funny. When it came time to actually clean, he offered me lip balm for my chapped lips! WHICH IS AMAZING. they are actually ranked one of the top dental offices in my city. lol now i see why. The whole cleaning process was pretty painful and he recommended that i floss more often. That feeling of the needle like cleaner inbetween my gums and my teeth really hurt. He asked about where I go to school, and what I plan to be in the future. you know that kind of small talk adults like to ask teens. When i was done, he brushed on this purple gunk and told me to rinse it out. He left me a very darling clear package zip up with a mini tooth brush, floss, instructional card, and his business card. My teeth had that gross bloody feeling but my teeth felt super SMOOTH i might add. I just wish there was a mirror so I could see why all the people at the office were smiling at me.

My dad and I left and went to safeway. At safeway we bought a ton of progresso chicken noodle soup because it was on sale for a dollar. yay i love that soup, i eat it for breakfast every single morning! We ventured out to a nearby dim sum place and selected from yummy dumplings. It was actually just okay compared to the ones from Chinatown! I got to drive and on the freeway which was super exciting! For Dinner we had steaks that were bloody good. Lol when I say bloody, i mean they were so bloody that I had to go and reheat it for a bit because I can't stand rare steaks. Then I ended the night by typing this blog. Wow this is the first time where I rambled on and on. Comment if you like these kind of entries, or if you prefer my usual picture blogs. Japanese Tea Garden

I could probably write about this photo and only this photo, but I have a lot more. I took this picture at the Japanese Tea Garden when I went with Oscar and Annie. Right after scheduling my classes, I had some free time. Oscar tricked me into thinking that he was someone else. I felt so dumb for believing that he was ivan! Well anyhoos, he said he had a surprise in store! It was going to be an adventure, and something only "geeks" like him would like. We arrived at the tea garden, and it was more beautiful that I imagined. There was a beautiful waterfall at the entrance where annie and I took a ton of photos. We found many intricate buildings and lots of stones to hop across. The garden was so peaceful and serene. It was definitely what I needed to escape from the busy finals coming up.

Annie and oscar got very adventurous when they climbed onto the fencing to take the picture. Haha i'm sure this is very illegal. At the coffee shop a little around this bend, we met a very flirty waiter. He was standing behind the booth and gave us a smirk. It was kind of awkward with the three other workers in the back staring at the three of us but we just ended up ordering a slice of green tea cheesecake. I felt super thirsty so oscar bought me a coke since I was probably about to faint from walking so much that day. I went back to the same waiter and he was like HOW CAN I HELP YOUUU :)haha there was no way I could keep a straight face. He gave me a total of three straws because he thought I should have a good one. I don't know what that was about but it was funny. Oscar wanted me to leave him my phone number but I didnt want to fool around that much.

We found a very pretty fall scene at the botanical garden. I love the color of these leaves. Most of the tree trunks were bare naked by last dec.

After we left the natural world, we entered back into the eccentric neighborhoods of the city. We wandered around the Haight district and found a lot of cool and unique shops. We saw this adorable cut out and we had to take a picture with it. See i'm so yummy I just want to eat myself!

If you guys ever stop by the area, be sure to check out X-Generation! They had so many beautiful pieces that were super trendy and affordable! I fell in love with this soft demure pink tiered top. Ah i think I'm in love. I ended up not getting it because Ive been kind of broke lately. I saw a lot of military inspired clothes with huge buttons and zipper detailing. I also saw a few leather jackets and flowy big tops. We ended up back at my house and we made some pesto pasta with some spicy sausage in it. It was kind of sour, i'm not going to lie.

WinterBall and Christmas Cheer

So there goes a bunch of random pictures. Personally I love looking at pictures! I'm currently in love with chictopia because there are so many inspirational and fashionable people out there! It really gives me an idea of what looks good! Its also a lot of fun to share! I'm wearing the skirt that that I just finished making, which is also the one i tweeted about. Its only because I have my mini heater on full blast! :)

These are the earrings i borrowed from annie for Winterball! It was called "Let it Snow". I thought that the card/invitation was by far the best! I'm glad we didn't get the sucky ones again! And on the bottom, here is the necklace that she also lent to me! I think the cubic zirconia is really amazing and almost too glamorous for the occasion! Thank you soo much Annie for lending me the perfect accessories, now if only I had red lipstick on! Maybe I should recreate that look for you guys! I think it would be a lot of fun! I'm not sure though, I haven't mastered how to do my own foundation yet, so I might just hold off on that thought.

Thanks to Kathleen for also lending me her black and white cocktail dress! I loved it! I felt super glam in it with my satin black peeptoe pumps! :) Thanks to my sister for helping me with my makeup! Although getting ready was super hectic, it was an overall memorable night. Burritos and tapioca are not the most glamorous food on the planet, but it was delicious food. Haha running to the entrance was by far the craziest thing i've done. If only I had captured that on film, with my hair all blown by the wind! I still felt like a million bucks!

He and I have known each other since 6th grade in middle school! Haha I still remember when he had his gold bangs & when baggy pants were in. Those were the days.

(below) This christmas tree was so big! I think the ornament was the size of my head, literally! I would love to take this home with me! Santa, will you bring me a big christmas tree down the chimney?

Christmas Cheer

"So the weather outside is frightful" ... haha just kidding I don't think im gonna break into a song right now.So i took a couple of pictures of the beautiful sunset, or at least what i call the sunsetting in my city, a couple of days ago. Its this really gorgeous rich blue color.

My mom brought home a couple of really cute pretzels that were decorated with christmas cheer! With yummy snowflakes, chocolate, sprinkles, and m&ms. Sadly I already ate the m&m ones so I cant really show that to you guys! I think this company makes some really yummy chocolate covered pretzels!

Maybe I should do a makeup tutorial inspired by these pretzels! they just look too good to eat!

My sister picked up some fake Mac eyeshadow/blush in taiwan. I was surprised by the creamy texture of the eyeshadow and the pigmentation! I actually really love the colors in this small palette. I just wanted to show it to you guys in case I decide to do a tutorial using this palette. Even though its not the real thing, i still think that its a pretty cool eyeshadow. I dont really care about brands, as long as it looks good! and i'm telling you, it looks really good! I'm excited to do a how to: curling hair tutorial, even though I already did one with annie, but you guys requested it! I also wanted to set up a date for BlogTv! I wonder if anyone will show up because I don't think a lot of people know about my channel. Well I hope that you've all been well. Share in the comments what you think about imitation products! Glam Holiday Look & Setting up my Christmas Tree

So Last night i finally got to setting up my mini plastic christmas tree! i wonder when i'm finally going to be able to buy a real one. i guess because my parents aren't that into christmas, we might never get one. Like my hat guys? hahah i think it looks really silly and the spring part of the hat bounces! i did a video on me setting up my tree, but i don't think a lot of people will be interested in seeing that.

So yesterday I had a lot of fun filming this Holiday Look inspired by Blair or Juicystar07's "Berry Punch" look found in my Dec/Jan SeventeenMagazine. Its so cool how they are youtubers and they made it to a national magazine! So I did a combination of a purple punch/ red /green/ silver look. I wanna do a couple more holiday looks, but i don't have any cool ideas yet. For the look, i decided to wear my new hat from H&M and I curled my hair with my fav purple flat iron. I got a lot of nice compliments on my hair :) thanks everyone!

I am currently in love with this quote! The line is so short yet very effective! Over the past couple of months, I have been contemplating the inspiration to my youtube videos. After much thought, I have realized that I am truly happy to inspire woman across the globe to have more self-confidence and fun with fashion. I put myself out there for the world to watch so that maybe even one girl can realize that fashion does not have to be a material, but a form of artistic expression. I make and sew clothes to transform the body into a beautiful masterpiece because it makes me happy. I find a lot of joy after the hours of sewing when i have finally reached my goal. These little things are what gives me passion and drive. I hope that whoever it is that is reading this blog can understand that this is a dream that is attainable if you put your heart and soul into it. This is my dream.

Haters on Youtube

So lately, ive been getting a lot of hater comments on my youtube channel. At first i tried to ignore the hateful and negative comments, however, they seemed to grow. i noticed that the more subscribers that i had, the more hate comments i get. I wished that they didn't have to be related but they are. So I've learned to deal with these comments by sometimes deleting them because they attract negativity to my hard worked on videos. I hope that this blog can help others realize that the negative comments are only rare. Those haters are people who have nothing better to do in their lives and hide behind their computer screens with their insecurities! I pity those people for not having someone to care for them. I've heard them all, hate comments, hate messages, hate emails!? When does the list of hatred end. I'm gonna just focus on the thousands of nice and sweet comments because those deserve more focus than the hate ones.

Supergirl - Halloween Costume

I'm gonna be doing the costumes for an Angel, Devil, Gretel from "Hansel and Gretel", maybe a greek goddess. Im going to be using clothes that I already own to create these videos. omgosh guys! i tried to make my own nail polish and it came out so stunningly! i absolutely LOVE IT! i mixed NYC's sheer french nail color ( a white cream color) with ElF's Seductive, and it didnt turn out so nicely, so i mixed in ELF'S celebrity and it came out in this gorgeous gold color! It looks so expensive! and the pigmentation of the polish was superb! it was so thick and easy to put on. The only downside is that it dried in the bottle cap too quickly before i could apply it onto my hands and toes but other than that, it was AMAZING! check it out guys, and support!

My Everyday Eyes

My sister and her boyfriend woke me up this morning at around 7, and i was a grumpy monster! So i had a bit of time this morning to do my eye makeup! I don't like foundation, yet. Haha although it has its perks, it still feels a bit cakey on my face. =) i'll look back on this moment one day and laugh.
So i took a couple pics that i wanted to share with you guys! These are HQ pics, so you can see better! I'll also attach a video of how I apply my eye makeup! I love love love the maybelline silken taupe! It just looks so good no matter what time of day it is, and it can never go wrong.

So i just wanted to take a quick second out of my day to thank my youtube subscribers. wow they have been amazing to me! I know it says that i joined march 2007, but i offically started making videos in august of this year 09. Its pretty amazing how I have over 700 subscribers in 2 months! yeah my friends even think i'm hooked on youtube! My subscribers are so amazing because they leave me the best comments & they actually watch my videos and answer questions that i ask in the video! I made this collage as a new intro for my videos! i wanted to try something more professional so you guys will be seeing a lot of that! AND if i do get partnered, i'm definitely going to make a collage as my banner. i can't wait to see where this all takes me. its definitely my new creative outlet. haha i hope its not too much of an obsession!

Oh and my sister told me about this cool website to listen to music! its grooveshark.com! You guys should all check it out! Its a great place to listen to popular music or just searching for music to listen to online!

A typical saturday at home

On Sunday, it was my mom's 51st birthday! We went out to eat some chinese food in the sunset and it was pretty good! It was called the 8 immortals! The food was fantastic;however, the portions were so small! It was just me, my sister, mom, dad, and my sister's bf. We devoured the food, so we didn't have any left over. It feels like I got food poisoned, Ek. Sigh with the college apps out right now, I just feel a lot of stress. Just trying to figure out what I want, verses what everyone else says is good for me. I just finished watching the Private practice season premiere! It was AMAZING! After last season's cliff hanger with a crazy woman cutting open Violet's stomach to steal her baby, I had chills! I definitely give it 5 stars! I'm gonna go watch project runway, i guess having cable sucks a little less because i can actually watch the shows online now. i'm such a project runway addict<3
